Arrowtown is a delightful little historic gold mining town in the Otago region, and was highly recommended to us as a perfect lunch spot by our host at the Chard Farm Winery. Situated approximately 20 minutes from Queenstown it is a very picturesque town, with tree lined avenues and buildings which have strict appearance covenants applied to them so that the overall feel of the town is preserved – thankfully no McD’s or KFC etc…
