Loches…

After Chenonceau it was time to stop for lunch, and so we headed for the lovely town of Loches… After our by now obligatory baguette stuffed with jambon and fromage, we decided to go looking for a pastry. Unfortunately as it was lunchtime most of the shops were closed, however by good fortune we stumbled upon a boulangerie whose door was open. In we went, and duly waited for someone to come and help us…and waited…after 10 minutes alone in the shop, and calling out for assistance, a very bleary eyed and sleepy baker appeared. Apparently we had interrupted his midday nap, however we all a good chuckle…

  1. Nice. Let the wind lift me up and carry me there. (While I’m sleeping please…not too keen on crossing the ocean with only the wind beneath me…) 😉

Beautiful photos. 🙂 Glad you shared them.
