Bay Of Fires, North East Coast Of Tasmania…

The Bay of Fires in North East Tasmania is a very beautiful location just short drive from Launceston. It was named ‘the Bay of Fires’ in 1773 by Captain Tobias Furneaux sailing in the Adventure, after spotting the fires of the Aboriginal people dotting the beaches. Another great spot for road testing my new 5DSR…

We were indeed fortunate to have the entire bay around the lighthouse entirely to ourselves, apart from the local wildlife of course. After the previous few days of rain and snow, this was absolutely heavenly, and not cold in the slightest…

  1. Absolutely stunning images, Michael 🙂

We could see all shades of blue here, right?

Thank you so much for sharing and have a nice day ahead 🙂

      1. Dear Michael, no issues at all 🙂

I am really poor at responding quickly, there were instances of replying after 2-3 months to comments from my friends 🙂

But, until then I have a kind of suffocation 🙂

Thank you so much for your time and words of encouragements throughout my short blogging journey, I really value it 🙂
