Although I make my living as primarily an architectural, commercial and industrial photographer, I always feel it is essential to get out and shoot personal projects as much as possible. Consequently a couple of weeks ago we bundled our rotten pooch (meaning much loved and thoroughly spoiled dog) into the car and headed to Anglesea Beach for the day, whereby I captured this long exposure image, which I call ‘Serenity’… As ever this image is available as a print, along with many other landscape images which can be found at www.michaelevansphotographer.com

This was a 5 minute exposure, and the filtration necessary to extend the exposure leaves quite a blue colour cast, which I normally remove very easily in post production. In this instance however I neutralised the cast, but then let a little blue creep back in as I felt it complemented the feel of the image…
Thought it a good excuse to pop in a couple of pictures of Molly too…

Just beautiful!
Thank you Laura!
You’re welcome!
