I took so many images of the amazing artwork and pieces in the Vatican Museum, that choosing a favourite is nigh on impossible…

Whereabouts in the Vatican Museum that I captured this hallway ceiling, I simply cannot remember…nor am I aware of the artist who produced it, but it is true to say that the Museum as a whole is an unparalleled assault on the senses; despite the ubiquitous crowds I cannot but leave feeling uplifted…© Michael Evans Photographer 2015
