After Queenstown we headed to Te Anau which is a town in the Southland region of the South Island of New Zealand. It is on the eastern shore of Lake Te Anau in Fiordland, and Lake Te Anau is the largest lake in the South Island and second only within New Zealand to Lake Taupo. On the day we arrived the weather was extremely windy with intermittent rain. As such we decided to wrap up and go for a long hike along the lakeshore. I decided in this instance to take only my point and shoot pocket IXUS 125, with which I captured this image which I converted to BW in Photoshop.
