Auxerre…

After our night (without seeing any ghosts!) in Vermenton, it was on to the town of Auxerre for lunch… By this stage we were used to the weather being somewhat changeable…

Throughout our trip Mel was drawn to photographing the many interesting shop signs that we saw, and she really got some great shots! There was definitely something in this for me as well, and I found myself looking for the character of the town in the details, as opposed to my usual grand architectural shots…
